Thank you to X members who saw my post on X and stopped in here. I’ve been around for a long time. Longer than I should have been I could say but time is not in our control so I look at my age philosophically and shrug. I am here now so let’s get to work. This is why I began this little investment in money and time. Were I really smart I suppose I would be living on some beach somewhere in this world, perhaps a foreign country? Nah, I have all I need and I got here with a wonderful wife and a lot of hard work between the two of us.
Long ago now our second born son developed cancer, Osteogenic Sarcoma. He was fifteen when this took place and we went so far out of normal for a year to the point of exhaustion and got him cured by the skin of our teeth. A battle royal to save his life. We managed and he is a father of two and doing quite well.
All of this just added to my experience and it was God who brought us through just as it was God that saw me through combat. Sure, I could say it was luck or a myriad of other words and terms describing “good fortune” but why take away from He who created all this? To say it was luck gives unreality a way in the door. We are not on our own but only the ones who reject the spiritual nature of our existence depend on, “luck.” Stuff happens with or without belief but belief sees you through the good and bad and keeps us on this narrow road we call life.
