Left and right. Hands. Legs. Feet. Ears. I could go one . . . and on. But why? Are you left handed? I am right handed. Then, we drop all pretense and the way our politics are left and right, left or right. Changeable.
Where am I going with this? Only to say that there is much more to life than politics. True, we can be drastically affected by the politics in charge but it wasn’t always so. Before the burning of the American flag, a thing unheard of when I was a kid, politics were like a set of hands working, getting the job done. Not on the same side of the body politic but amenable to doing what was right for our nation. However, even then there was another hand growing out from the body politic. It was called, is called: Progressive.
We had no idea what a Progressive was when I grew up. That is the way the progressives wanted it. This is how they managed to sneak in the backdoor and take over the bureaucracy of our nation. To use regulations rather than congress to pass laws that were not laws but had the effect of laws. Burrowing in like Tape Worms to our government unseen by the people; you and I, my parents and their friends.
Who is really doing all the shouting while Trump tries to clean the basement? The minions of the Progressives. Most of these are merely fools but some are planners, architects of America’s demise. The bringers of socialism. Obama was one of these. So was Carter even though he let on that he was some sort of preacher and a righteous man. He to was a fool and so were those who voted for him.
What is Trump trying to do? Right some of the wrongs done in the last one hundred years by the bureaucracy and their allies in the House and Senate, not to mention presidents. All of these matriculated from colleges stacked to the rafters with Progressive professors. Still are stacked with these idiots.
America had just won World War Two when I came along. My generation the press called, “Baby Boomers.” This moniker is negative as all we were were human beings. Labeling humans is a negative wherever it is done. In a way, nations are also not correct as we are all human beings on the same planet with the same problems, more or less. The more names we call one another the more separate we feel. The more separate we feel the more friction is caused. The more friction the more fighting. Do you see what I am driving at? It is simple; we are all children of God. To forget that is the condemnation of peace. What do we have now?
