“Riotous,” that is what I find listening to the Democrats throwing their partly hidden epithets toward Trump taking a gifted 747 from Qatar. Like this is a first from another country. This is an exaple of why understanding the past is so important. Yeah, there are laws against accepting gifts from other countries but does this fall under the possiblity of a “bribe” or is this pretty much above board?
It is the latter as this is not being given to Trump personally to curry favor. It is a gift to America and certainly Trump can use it if he so chooses. Am I drawing a fine line? NO. Might it be better if Trump does not accept it? Who says he has? He’s spoken of it like he always baits the hook for dunderheads and they bite every time. I wish I had that much luck catching trout!
It is riotous to hear the same thick skulls constantly berating or calling Trump crooked. He has not broken any laws and even if he accepts the 747 he is, technially, breaking no law. It might look better politically to not take it but free is free and when the 747 is worth billions and Boeing cannot get its act together and the 747 for the president is 60 years old it might be a great idea.
Would you accept a ride in it? Sure you would, no matter which president was in office when a ride is offered. It is friggin unblieveable how thick the left is while biting at tied flies.
